Huge thanks to attendees, partners, and EMC for a fantastic EMC World 2014!

Vistara hit the ground running as a New Innovator Sponsor in Las Vegas last week. Here are some highlights...

  • Vistara Wins VSPEX MVP - We are honored to be one of three EMC Technology Connect partners across the globe to be recognized in the inaugural awards. Read more about our MVP Award.
  • What Matters Most in IT Ops - Thanks to those who participated in our very scientific poll to find out what is most important to YOU in IT operations. We had great discussions and debates about the relative importance of automation versus reporting, and what "single pane of glass" and "first to know" mean to different organizations. The common thread was that there are opportunities for improvement across the board. And the survey says...

    IT Operation Management Survey Results

"Automation" came out on top, followed by "Reporting". "First to know" and "Single pane of glass" tied for third. Disclaimer: Results may be biased by health conscious voters and post-lunch visitors who chose to vote instead of eating their Skittles!

  • VSPEX Assembly Line - Vistara represented the VSPEX ecosystem in the Partner Lounge VSPEX Assembly Line where EMC and partners demonstrated to channel partners how to Engage, Design, Build, Provision, and Deploy VSPEX. Congratulations to MTM, who won the VSPEX Assembly Line Sweepstakes, including one year of Vistara!
  • Vistara CTO on theCUBE - We were excited to see Vistara CTO Varma Kunaparaju on live streaming as he was interviewed by Jeff Frick and Stu Miniman on theCUBE. See Varma's segment to learn about Vistara's vision and how to manage converged infrastructure with Vistara as IT infrastructure and service personnel become federated.
  • VSPEX and Brocade - Thanks to Brocade for a great partnership and letting us share Vistara's capabilities across the VSPEX ecosystem. You may have seen Vistara at Brocade's booth demoing how to manage VSPEX with Vistara.

Thanks again for your engagement at EMC World 2014! We look forward to next year!
