Vistara has been recognized by Enterprise Strategy Group (ESG) as an emerging cloud service management vendor in the firm’s March 2013 market summary report on Cloud Service Management Software.

Why Vistara? In a nutshell, it’s the technology. In the report ESG acknowledges the Vistara IT Operations Platform (ITOP) for its ability to manage and federate on-premise private cloud and public cloud operations from a single enterprise command center. The report goes on to highlight ten core components that IT organizations must have to successfully transform themselves into CSPs. These include automation, Single Sign-On (SSO), Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC), service management, service catalogs, Change Management Databases (CMDB), service desk, orchestration, chargeback and federation. And guess who is the only cloud service management vendor to meet all ten? You got it. Vistara.

In commenting on the ESG market summary, Varma Kunaparaju, Vistara’s CTO said, “Vistara ITOP is uniquely positioned to deliver on all ten of the key components of cloud service management outlined within ESG’s report. Another critical differentiator is the simplicity and ease-of-use CSPs experience when using Vistara’s single pane of glass view to remotely manage and support hybrid IT environments.”
