Transformed Usability Experience, Dashboard Improvements and New Visualizations
Some of facets of our improved and transformed UI to give users a more seamless experience includes device management policies, cloud budget policies, device centric topology, K8s hierarchy topology, and schedule maintenance UI. Our latest updates also feature dashboard improvements and new visualizations. NOC users will now be able to see room-mode dashboards auto-refreshing every 3 minutes to present the latest data. This enables them to act relatively faster and troubleshoot the incident. Users can now visualize data in Tabular form with OpsQL query in Resource, Alert and Ticket tile types which lets them analyze the required attributes of these entities for any outliers.
Metrics Explorer and OpsQL Improvements
Users can now explore the platform telemetric data using Explorer Dashboard on matched telemetric name. They can perform query customization for different visualizations and save them by exporting as tile to your dashboard to see all such tiles collection. OpsQL query support is now extended to include for Tickets:
- Filters on IpAddress, comment’s text, associated service name or resources
- Custom field attributes
Alert Management and Alert Correlations
Here are some of the updated features in Alert Management:
- Updating comments on Alert/Tickets
Making changes/updating comments on alerts/tickets becomes much easier now as users will have the ability to edit their existing comments: - Enhanced Machine Learning Configurations
Learning configuration knowledge base has now been enriched to escalate notifications along with existing ticket escalation. system will learn to notify escalation and along with ticket assignment to the right users. - Improved Correlations
- Platform now gives users an additional ability to manually correlate alerts based on the selected set of alerts.
- Alerts correlation polices now allow to update default inferenced resource to a causal resource by updating correlation rules.
- Correlation rules are now supported for custom attributes for enhanced alerts similarity in correlating alerts.
- Correlation interval is configurable in range between 30 Mins to 4 Hrs to enable a larger window for correlating alerts to enhance correlation accuracy.
New and Enhanced Platform APIs
APIs can now be authenticated and authorized using user context key-secrets so that only the given user can use the keys. Custom Dashboards deployment for Day 0 operations is now eased by using Dashboard APIs which. Details in Dashboard APIs . Netflows
Netflows will now allow users to define custom metric definitions and generate alerts over the defined threshold limits.
Logs, Traces, Kubernetes, and Synthetics Enhancements
Log Management
- Log alert definitions have now been enhanced to support various options for defining alert generation rules.
- Improved Windows event collection configuration options including filter by event ID.
- Log ingestion service improvements to increase maximum payload size to 100MB.
- Log explorer now auto refreshes and has a live tail option.
Tracing
UI improvements, including improved UI response time, improved selection in dropdowns on trace explorer, and introduction of loading icon for lengthy queries.
Kubernetes
Kubernetes 2.0 is now available upon request. 2.0 uses an Otel-based agent and includes many new metrics, simplified log and event collection, improved topology, and improved OOTB dashboards.
Synthetics
Synthetics have been migrated to UI 2.0.
Reporting Apps
New Apps
- Cloud Costing Insights reporting app which offers cloud billing insights and trends of the cloud infrastructure in usage for effective budgeting and effective infrastructure management.
- NetFlow Insights reporting app. This App offers insights and trends of top conversations and applications between the layer 3 source and destinations, which includes top network incoming, outgoing bandwidth utilizations
Improved Tickets Details App
Ticket Details App includes resource-related attributes such as resource name, IP address, device group name, service group name, and location. These attributes are utilized to accurately identify the associated resources, groups, and locations with the corresponding ticket. It also includes the Absolute Response Time, Absolute Resolution Time, and SLA Summary etc. Refer here for details.
Enhanced resource availability details App
Availability report now takes an account of onboarded resources during report generation time so that they are not seen as UNDEFINED in the report.
Enhanced Metering Telemetry Data Report
The Metered Usage Insights app generating metering telemetry can now be sliced and diced to get more insights based on the following:
- Resource Type
- Resources associated with integration
- License Consumption per Integration
Such granular insights let users to effectively assess their resource allocation and make informed decisions to optimize their utilization of integrations and license consumptions.
